Internal Personnel Security:

• All employees undergo background checks before being hired.

• Complete annual security awareness training on HIPAA, privacy, and information classification.

Compliance

• All software changes are reviewed for compliance.

• Kellan Med practices infrastructure-as-code. All infranstructure changes are reviewed before deployment.

Confidentiality and Data Encryption

Artificial Intelligence

• All AI models are HIPAA-compliant and don’t retain data.

• Protected health information is not used for AI training purposes.

• We have secured a BAA with OpenAI, the agreement ensures that data handling complies with regulations like HIPAA.

Vendor Management

• All Vendors who may process information are required to be HIPAA compliant and sign BAAs with Kellan Med.

• Kellan Med regularly reviews vendor security practices to ensure continued high standards.
